Numerous reprints for Douglas Smith stories

The US magazine Cicada will be publishing Douglas Smith's SF novelette "Going Harvey in the Big House" in its January/February 2005 issue. Doug's martial arts fantasy "The Red Bird," which first appeared in the Canadian speculative magazine On Spec in 2001 and was an Aurora finalist in 2002, will be reprinted in the anthology Sky Songs 2, publication date likely late in 2005.

Doug's short story "State of Disorder," which first appeared in Amazing Stories in 1999 and was an Aurora finalist in 2000, will be reprinted in the upcoming Australian anthology An Alternative Time from Altair Books, and his novelette "Scream Angel," which first appeared in the US anthology Low Port in 2003 and won the 2004 Aurora Award, will be translated and reprinted in Ukraine (Real'nost' Fantastiki) and Israel (Bli Panika).

His novelette "Spirit Dance," which appeared in Tesseracts 6 and The Third Alternative #22 and was an Aurora finalist in 1998, will be translated and reprinted in Croatia (Futura), Poland (Nowa Fantastyka), and Lithuania (Dorado Raganos), bringing the number of sales for this story to sixteen.

Finally, Doug's short story "Symphony," which first appeared in Prairie Fire in 1999 and was an Aurora finalist in 2000, will be translated and reprinted in Croatia (Via Galactica).
